Signal Conditioning
	National Instruments manufactures a wide range of signal conditioning products for interfacing signals and sensor outputs to data acquisition (DAQ) boards and personal computers. Signal conditioning solutions address systems ranging from a single thermocouple input to large systems with hundreds or thousands of conditioned analog and digital signals.
National Instruments developed these signal conditioning products to match the technology, performance, and versatility of PC-based DAQ hardware. This integrated design simplifies system deployment during installation and configuration.
Data Acquisition
Data acquisition is the process of converting a physical phenomenon (such as temperature or pressure) into an electrical signal and measuring the signal in order to extract information. Your transducer converts the physical phenomenon into an electrical signal. Then, you measure the signal using signal conditioning and data acquisition hardware.
