  • INHALATION
    		• Drowsiness. Unconsciousness. Weakness.
    		Ventilation.
    		Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN


    		• Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower.
  • EYES

    		• Safety goggles.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION
    		• (See Inhalation).
    		Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
    		Do NOT induce vomiting. Rest. Refer for medical attention.
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Ventilation. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place (extra personal protection: self-contained breathing apparatus).
    		Keep in a well-ventilated room.

     CLEAR COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

     The substance decomposes on heating or producing toxic and corrosive fumes (hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride, phosgene).

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
     TLV: 75 ppm; 566 mg/m3 (as TWA) A4 (ACGIH 1997).


    		ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapour.

    INHALATION RISK:
     A harmful contamination of the air can be reached very quickly on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     The substance may cause effects on the liver at narcotic concentrations. Exposure to vapour could cause lowering of consciousness.
