  • INHALATION

    		• Avoid inhalation of fine dust and mist. Local exhaust.
    		Fresh air, rest.
  • SKIN

    		• Protective gloves.
    		Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap.
  • EYES

    		• Safety spectacles.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION

    		• Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.

    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Sweep spilled substance into covered containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.

    PHYSICAL STATE; APPEARANCE:
     BLACK SOLID IN VARIOUS FORMS.




    CHEMICAL DANGERS:
     The substance may spontaneously ignite on contact with air when heated above 200°C. The substance is easily oxidized by air and readily absorbs carbon dioxide.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
     TLV not established.
    MAK as respirable dust: ppm; 6 mg/m3; (1995).


    		ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation.

    INHALATION RISK:
     Evaporation at 20°C is negligible; a harmful concentration of airborne particles can, however, be reached quickly when dispersed, especially if powdered.
