EXPOSURE


  • INHALATION
    		• Ataxia. Cough. Dizziness. Drowsiness. Headache. Nausea. Sore throat.
    		Ventilation.
    		Fresh air, rest. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
    		• Dry skin. Redness.
    		Protective gloves. Protective clothing.
    		Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Refer for medical attention.
  • EYES
    		• Redness. Pain.
    		face shield,
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION
    		• Abdominal pain. Cough. Diarrhoea. Dizziness. Drowsiness.
    		Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
    		Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Sweep spilled substance into sealable containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Wash away remainder with plenty of water.
    		Separated from strong oxidants, Dry.

     COLOURLESS HYGROSCOPIC LIQUID OR WHITECRYSTALS , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

     The substance decomposes on burning producing toxic gases and vapours. Reacts violently with strong oxidants.

     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation and through the skin on prolonged exposure.

    INHALATION RISK:
     A harmful contamination of the air will not or will only very slowly be reached on evaporation of this substance at 20°C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     The substance irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the central nervous system.

    EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
     The liquid defats the skin with possible sloughing..
