Since 1989, The Practical Observer has shown amateur astronomers how to get the most from their hobby. Published quarterly, TPO provides our readers with all kinds of nuts-and-bolts tips and general know-how not covered in other astronomy periodicals. Unlike some 'techniques' magazines that emphasize only high-tech, TPO includes low-tech and sometimes even no-tech when the project warrents it.
